The Gift Card can be purchased either via the CITY iLOVE App, online at www.baneasa.ro/en/giftcard, or from any Info Desk on location. The card offers more flexibility and can be supplied with multiple of 10 RON amounts between 100 and 2200 RON. It can be shipped at home or picked up from the shopping center.
The Gift Card works like any bank card and can be used in all the stores in the Baneasa Shopping City as a payment method, for multiple purchases (see the full list of accepting stores here ). Certain POS terminals may require to enter the card PIN code. That code is 1234.
The Gift Card cannot be replaced or exchanged with cash money, it can’t be used in ATMs or traded for other gift cards.
For corporate orders, please check our business Gift Card Order Form. You will need to fill in your company’s details. Business orders must be picked up personally, by a representative of the company, from the Info Desks in Baneasa Shopping City. Business orders for gift cards cannot be delivered by courier.
You can buy as many cards as you wish, however, you will need to do it in multiple orders. One order is limited to 5 cards.

The Gift Card can be used to purchase products only in Baneasa Shopping City stores and may not be used at cash points or for online payments.
As long as you have money left on the Gift Card, you can continue to use it in all partner stores. For example, if you receive a Baneasa Shopping City Gift Card loaded with 100 RON and make a 40 RON transaction, you will have 60 RON left to spend. Purchases above the balance of the Gift Card must be combined with another acceptable form of payment (cash or card). Before making a transaction, we advise you to ask the store staff what payment method they accept for the difference between the value of the product and the card balance.
No. Each Gift Card can be loaded only once. The minimum value accepted is 100 RON and the maximum is 2200 RON. To continue enjoying shopping, you have to buy another Gift Card.
This may depend on the policy of each store.
Your Baneasa Shopping City Gift Card can be used until it has a zero balance or the expiry date is reached. The Gift Card is valid for 12 months from activation and will expire thereafter. After the expiration date, your Gift Card credit will no longer be available. The expired amount is not refundable.
You are responsible for all transactions, including all unauthorized transactions that take place if the card is lost or stolen. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, you should contact Baneasa Shopping City immediately either through the contact form available on the CITY iLOVE App, at www.baneasa.ro/en/contact or via phone at +40.21.306.55.05. You will not be held liable for any transactions that occur after you receive from Băneasa Developments SRL the confirmation that the information provided was sufficient to identify the card and block it. A replacement Gift Card can be issued, however this can only be done with proof of purchase: the gift card number, the e-mail address used on purchase, and your full identification of the buyer. You can request a replacement card also if your card was damaged. If a replacement card is issued as a result of a lost, stolen or damaged card, a 25 RON fee will apply.
You can enquire about the purchase and expiry date, available balance, and transaction history of your Gift Card in our CITY iLOVE App, online at
www.baneasa.ro/en/giftcard or at any Info Desk on location.
Via CITY iLOVE: Access the menu on the top left, go the the section Discover Baneasa and access the Gift Card page. Under the “Already have a Gift Card?” section introduce TOKEN ID and press Check balance.
You can also scan the barcode on the back of your Gift Card.
Remember to register your e-mail address so we can keep you informed about the validity of your card!
After following the correct steps, you will be provided with all the information about your Gift Card balance, transactions and validity.
When purchasing goods you will receive a receipt from the store similar to that when paying with a credit or debit card. Please ensure you keep this receipt as well as your Gift Card, even if the remaining balance is a zero. You will need to present your Gift Card to the store for any returns. No cash refunds will be done for purchases made with the Gift Card.
The payment provider may decide at any time not to accept payment from you by your card. If this decision is made, we will not process your order and will contact you to inform you that this order has not been processed.
Of course, the main reason for orders to be rejected is that you don’t have enough money on your card. Please verify your balance before trying again.

You will receive an email when your order has been shipped, and the AWB number to track online, here, the status of your shipment.
To purchase a Gift Card you must be aged 14 or over.
Yes, you are able to select a different delivery address, anywhere in the country, for each order! The delivery will be made only in Romania. Also, you can select the option to pick it up yourself from the Info Desks.
For orders smaller than 650 Ron you pay 12 RON per package in home delivery costs in any location in Romania.
If you place your order before 31st of December 2019 you will benefit from free delivery for orders above 650 Ron! Orders delivery will be made only in Romania.
Online orders will be processed and dispatched in maximum 24 hours after being submitted. Delivery normally takes between 1 and 10 working days, after payment confirmation and order processing. No deliveries will be made on weekends or national holidays. All deliveries must be signed for and witnessed by the courier when delivered.

During the online purchase process, the invoice will be automatically generated and sent by e-mail, after you fill in the billing information. For the purchases made at Info Points, the invoice will be given together with the gift card.
Online purchased cards with home delivery will be activated after receiving the delivery confirmation. A delay of 24 hours between the receiving your Gift Card and its activation could occur. For gift cards purchased at Info Points, the activation will be made in the moment of purchasing.
The buyer or beneficiary of the Card may not claim reimbursement of any amount on the Card's balance. The Card buyer does not benefit the right of withdrawal in accordance with the provisions of Art. 16 letter c) of the Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights under contracts with pre-sales professionals if they acquired it from an online sale.
Gift Card payment appears highlighted on the receipt issued by the POS in card zone, where you may find the last 4 digits of the card number and one of the following titles: CARD KADOZ GIFT or BANEASA GIFT CARD.
The courier's failure to deliver the package due to customer reasons involves the cancellation of the order, and the amount of payment for that order will be refunded to the customer.
