Nike

Nike is an innovative, special company and brand. The company was founded in 1962 by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight under the original name of Blue Ribbon Sports and was one of the first companies to make special footwear for athletes. In 1972, the name Nike was adopted after the winged goddess of victory, according to Greek mythology, and the logo of the Nike brand called "swoosh" represents the very wing of the goddess.

The Nike company has remained true to the mission it assumed from the beginning, to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete. Sports equipment is made with athletes and incorporates the latest technologies developed in Nike's research laboratories. All Nike collections enjoy international acclaim among both famous performance athletes and those for whom Nike style has entered their everyday lives.

Sport Time Balkans is the exclusive partner and distributor of Nike since 2014, for 6 territories in the Balkan region and has commercial agreements for two more countries. Starting in 2020, the company took over the exclusive distribution of the Nike brand for Romania and Bulgaria.
